When Feliciano awoke the next day, he turned and smiled to where his partner slept the night before. He blinked open his eyes to find that he was alone and frowned. So he really left? He thought. Then he saw it. There was a note on the pillow, hand-written and addressed to him. The young man sat upright instantly, taking it into his hands. He read every word as if it would disappear when he finished reading.
Feliciano,
I'm sorry I couldn't stay. As much as I love you, and I would love to stay, I just can't. You'll get it eventually, I'm sure. I promise to come back someday. I really mean it. I don't think I could take it if I never saw you
Alfred entered the building to the knights' guild, looking around for people. As if he had been waiting for him, Feliciano had fallen asleep on the table. The blond gave off a small smile, going over to him. He shook his shoulder. "Hey," he asked quietly. "Were you waiting for me?" Feliciano, only waking up halfway, nodded absentmindedly. He slowly picked his head up, looking to Alfred tiredly. "I have to tell you something, Feli." The brunette half opened his eyes, which threw Alfred off slightly. Feliciano usually had his eyes closed. (How he could see, Alfred had no idea.) He gave Alfred a smile, and the blond noticed his brown eyes. Adora
Ivan sat on his bed, fumbling with the ends of his scarf in his hands. He mumbled to himself as he reflected on the day's past events. His little Yao-Yao wouldn't be his. How Yao had the nerve, Ivan didn't know. It probably came from being in the dungeon for so long. He looked to his scarf before wrapping it around his neck. He's worn that scarf ever since his elder sister made it for him, since Hetalia had always been cold; especially during the winter. Ivan suddenly stood when a voice came from behind him. He turned slightly to look over his shoulder before jerking away from his spot, where a young blonde woman lunged in order to get to the
Arthur and Alfred were walking towards the village when they came up to the paths. One led to the barracks of the knights' guild, while the other went to the actual village. Both blonds said their farewells and split, each going a separate path. A pair of red eyes peeked out of a bush as Arthur passed, and a hand suddenly reached out to grab the young wizard. Arthur yelped as he was pulled into the bush, coming face to face with a man. He had blonde hair, which came down in waves onto his shoulders. The man's blue eyes rivaled Alfred's, and they were much deeper in color. He had a bit of stubble on his chin, making him look slightly older. He
Light streamed in from the tiny window near the ceiling, shining right into golden, amber eyes as they slowly opened. The small figure sat up and yawned, looking around the bleak dungeon. He blinked at the light before sighing silently, reaching over to massage his ankle. The chains were beginning to hurt the fragile man. After a few years, chains will begin to bring pain to those who wear them. He stared up at the window for a moment longer before he decided the sun was hurting his eyes. He brought up his hands to rub them tiredly, knowing that escaping was futile. The window was far too high for him to reach, the ankle brace was stuck again
